Sima 2011

A group of current and prospective Manitou users took a short weekend trip to Paris at the end of February to attend the SIMA machinery show in Paris, courtesy of Manitou UK and Cornthwaite Ag. It was a chance to see the new Manitou 625 which was launched at the show, a machine that has lots of potential for users looking for a machine with slightly smaller dimensions. With a width of just 1.82m, yet with a 2.5T lift and a reach of 5.85m, it should be a good machine for many of our customers, and as soon as we returned, we orderd a couple for stock.   It was a very interesting show overall, and gave customers, Cornthwaite and Manitou personnel, chance to socialise and experience not only the new machines, but also take in the delights of Paris, both by day, and night!
