GreenStar 4 (GS4) upgrade:
Any FT4 6R, 7R, 8R/8RT, 9R/9RT tractor with the GS4 4100 display mounted on a Command Arm can be upgraded to the GS4 4600 display. The kit includes the display and upgraded processor, this not only provides a larger and easier to use display but it also allows the functionality of extra features that are not available on the 4100 display, such as, Section Control*, Documentation*, Wireless Data Transfer**,  Remote Display Access**.  Any existing AutoTrac activation on the 4100 will transfer to the 4600 during the upgrade.

StarFire 3000 receiver is a multi-frequency differential Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver with access to satellite signals from both the GPS and GLONASS satellites. This receiver offers true 3-D integrated terrain compensation and upgradable accuracy from SF1 (available as standard) to SF2 and RTK.






StarFire 6000 receiver is an enhanced replacement for the StarFire 3000 and expands on the value that precision agriculture producers have come to expect from StarFire products. The StarFire 6000 receiver implements an improved antenna, the latest in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal processing technology, and a new differential correction signal, SF3. All of this new technology adds up to faster signal acquisition, improved performance and uptime.





Several signal types and accuracy levels are available, depending on receiver type:
SF1 +/- 23cm accuracy on SF3000 receiver, +/- 15cm accuracy on SF6000 receiver. Free to use, standard on both SF3000 and SF6000 receivers.
SF2 (SF3000 only) +/- 5cm accuracy. Subscription based, requires SF2 ready activation.
SF3 (SF6000 only) +/- 3cm accuracy. In season repeatability. Subscription based, requires SF3 ready activation.
RTK +/- 2.5cm accuracy. Radio or Cellular based, long term repeatability. Requires RTK activation, radio or cellular hardware. Radio based system is free to use when using own base station. Cellular based RTK may incur costs to cellular network carrier and base station service provider. 


John Deere Mobile RTK

John Deere Mobile RTK uses the John Deere Mobile RTK network and the John Deere Mobile RTK differential correction signal to obtain real-time kinematic (RTK) repeatable accuracy of +/- 2.5cm.

The John Deere mobile RTK correction signal is transmitted to the SF3000 or SF6000 StarFire receiver  by the John Deere Mobile RTK modem mounted to the receiver, or alternatively via the machines JDLink telematic gateway. Using a cellular data connection the John Deere RTK modem or JDLink gateway connects to a central server to receive the John Deere Mobile RTK Signal from a number of base stations spread throughout the countryside. This central server, cellular towers, and John Deere base station network provide RTK accuracy without the need for a clear line of sight between receiver and base station associated with radio based RTK signals.

The benefit of this is that producers who farm in areas with difficult terrain (trees, mountains and hills) now have an option for receiving RTK accuracy. With John Deere Mobile RTK the machine can seamlessly roam anywhere and have access to the RTK correction signal.
